Art Show — Stigma Reduction

We are asking individuals of all ages and backgrounds to tell their stories through art; what is your story? What is experiencing or witnessing stigma like? What does it feel like to live with a mental health condition or suffer from a substance use disorder?

Event Details

Submitted pieces will be displayed at an Artworks gallery show in Big Rapids, August 26–September 27, 2024. Pieces should be delivered to Artworks, located at 106 N Michigan Ave in Big Rapids, on August 23rd and 24th between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Please have two-dimensional works framed and ready to be hung. Artist statements should be typed and include the artist's name, medium of work, price or insured value if not for sale, phone number, and email address. Written works can be submitted as Word documents to Roxanne by August 16th.


Prizes will be awarded for top-voted art in specific categories.
